A spot of good news: http://ici.radio-canada.ca/espaces-autochtones/ Note that CBC also has an "Indigenous" (formerly Aboriginal) section.

As I look at stories at this forum and see that I started the story about the Enquête reports on alleged SQ (Sureté du Québec) abuse of Indigenous women in Val d'Or over a year ago...

And sadly, one of the top stories of the new Space remains the MMIW tragedy:

Awesome! I hope they step up coverage on the news as well -- my sense is that people are pretty ignorant of Indigenous affairs here, but often agree wit the need for change once they are more aware of the facts.
