Tune in to watch live -- right here -- on Friday, November 1, 7PM Mountain Time, for a teach-in to hear from a range of provincial and national speakers about a different vision from the one being shared at this week-end's Conservative convention: one that focuses on progressive policies for people and the planet.

A teach-in presented by Common Causes, featuring:

Crystal Lameman (Beaver Lake Cree Nation)
Jean Lortie (Secretary-general, Confédération des syndicats nationaux)

Brigette DePape ("Rogue Page", writer and activist)
Paul Moist (National Presiden, tCUPE)
Michael Harris (writer, journalist, and documentary filmaker)
Chief Theresa Spence (Attawapiskat First Nation)
Moderated by Bill Phipps (Author and social and environmental activist)

This event is brought to you by Common Causes, an assembly of social movements dedicated to defending democracy, the environment, and human rights.

FYI, the event begins at 7PM Mountain Time. That's 6PM PST, 9PM EST, and 10PM down east. I think. 10:30PM in Newfoundland.
