Attention community educators, environmental educators, teachers (K-12, ECE, and beyond!), teacher candidates:
Do you want to challenge “nature deficit disorder” and connect science lessons to the real world? Have you ever wondered about how to teach about nature in the city? Are you interested in a professional development workshop where you will develop an environmental education teaching resource that you can share with your colleagues?
On Monday, April 2rd (9am-2:15pm), come to OSIE in downtown Toronto and learn about eco- flâneurie! This workshop is part of the Encuentro Conference (affiliated with York University Faculty of Environmental Studies). Admission by contribution to potluck lunch or cash donation to offset conference costs.
