'Acting Today, Shaping Tomorrow' was an international community health conference focused on improving population health and increasing the sustainability of health-care systems. The conference was sponsored by the Association of Ontario Health Centres, the Canadian Alliance of Community Health Centre Associations and the National Association of Community Health Centers. It ran June 9 and 10, 2011 at the Westin Harbour Castle, Toronto, Canada. David Reynolds, Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, updated the plenary on the state of the U.S. health-care debate.
