Spell Check in Babble Post (it is possible)

Hello. For anyone who sometimes makes typos and would like to be able to review a post quickly with a spell checker, well, if using Firefox, this is possible. Some who do use Firefox may have noticed that in other forums (fori?) that they see misspelt words will be flagged (IE, they'll appear with a red squiggly line underneath.) But for some reason this isn't the case in Babble posts. Well, I have discovered that it can work in Babble posts too (assuming it is set up and works elsewhere). All you need to do is click "Disable rich-text" which is a link in the lower left-hand side of your post (just above the "Post Comment" button), and then click once within the text box of your post (to make sure it's selected). This converts the words into plain text, which your spell-checker can read (you'll now also see the various underlying code as well -- don't touch that). You then can see any spelling errors quickly, since they'll be flagged, and correct them. After doing this, click "Enable rich-text" and the formatting will return to normal.
I hope I didn't make this sound more complicated than it actually is. Basically, type your post, click "Disable rich-text", click within your post, see if any of your post shows spelling errors (correct them if they do), then click "Enable rich-text", then click the "Post Comment" button.
ETA: I did this just now, and my spell checker indicated that I made a boo-boo with the word "mispelt", which I then changed to "misspelt" (which is correct -- though many now use "misspelled", also correct). Also, my spell checker does not recognize "fori" as a proper word. "fora" maybe? I'm never sure what the plural of "forum" is, though "forums" does pass muster with my spell checker.
I will definitely try that since posts in babble take me far longer than in other forums because I am a shitty typist and need spellcheck.
I just tried it and I deliberately spelled spellcheck wrong and it corrected it for me after I followed your suggestions.
Excellent!
Sigh, I foresee a decline in the level of levity some the of more common spelling errors generate, and lots of false positives for colour and centre.

Spellcheck is the steady decline into the cesspool of ignorance in our society. It began with calculators. Next will be grammar check. Eventually, thoughtcheck.
Meh
RevolutionPlease... we've had thoughtcheck for years
Babble should introduce that.
If you type "increase social spending" then an animated paperclip could pop up to ask "Did you mean 'nationalize all industry'?"
Monty doesn't like this kind of post so cut it out Unionist.
That's interesting. On mine, misspellings such as "color" and "centered" are flagged (the proper Canuck spellings being "colour" and "centred"). Maybe check to see what dictionaries you have installed by pressing Tools/Add-Ons. And then check under "Dictionaries" to see if you also have a US-English dictionary installed along with the Canadian-English dictionary.
