babble is rabble.ca's discussion board but it's much more than that: it's an online community for folks who just won't shut up. It's a place to tell each other — and the world — what's up with our work and campaigns.

Welcome Jim! Tell us something. And stick around. We're definitely into activity.

I worked at the YMCA for a while, but not as a coach - I was teaching languages. Interesting, but not very well paid. I live not too far from the Y on avenue du Parc; just north of the railway line in Petite-Italie. And above all, near Jean-Talon Market. I'm heading there soon; it is great to go there very early in the morning, if not it is very crowded on Saturday and Sunday. I'm hoping some squash has arrived, and of course I'll stop for an espresso.

What neighbourhood do you live in? You don't have to pinpoint it - just the general area.

There are pools with warmer water for people with arthritis or other "conditions"; I don't know if there are any at the Y. You can also ask at your borough or perhaps even at a CLSC.

Since I live north and a bit east of the city centre, I rarely get to the southwest, except for cycling along the canal - and we are more likely to cycle along boulevard Gouin (Rivière-des-Prairies). And I think Angrignon Park is in Lachine, no?
