I finally joined rabble.ca
A good day to everyone. I have been surfing your website for a few years now. My political viewpoint has changed drastically in the last year or two: Thus my joining you and your voices of sanity. I hope that in any of my future posts my meanings and intentions are not misconstrued. If they are a slap on the wrist or a kick in my gluteus maximus would be appreciated as you see fit. It is plain that there are many well-educated and intelligent members here and I am neither of those two things.
My biggest concern for our country is the erosion of our democratic principles. I would go as far as to say that Canada is no longer a democracy. I would willing give my life to reverse this trend and make Canada a democracy again for the sake of our children and grandchildren and further generations.
I now wonder how well this site is monitored by Canada's Secret Police. Is using words like insurrection, revolution etc permitted or is it better to avoid them and their synonyms?
Of course the spooks monitor this and most other websites. Perhaps a moderator can advise you on acceptable language; read the rabble policy statement first.
Welcome Che, I'm one of babble's moderators. Please read the babble policy and let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Rebecca West,
I had read babblepolicy before I pressed the Register button and could see nothing preventing me from exercising my right to freedom of speech within the borders of civility and respect for the other posters here, of course. If it ever seems that I am foaming at the mouth please rein me back. I may be a prime candidate to emulate Howard Beale in an old movie called "Network" and say: "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore."
