Why doesn't WikiLeaks release Trump's income tax returns, eh?
Hillary Clinton, Seizing on Tax Returns, Says Donald Trump Embodies ‘Rigged System’
Hillary Clinton seized on revelations that Donald J. Trumpcould have avoided paying income taxes for up to 18 years to unleash a new torrent of criticism of her opponent, saying he pretended to help working Americans even as he personified “the same rigged system he claims he will change.”
“He abuses his power, games the system, puts his own interests ahead of the country’s,” Mrs. Clinton told a crowd of more than 1,100 gathered for a rally on Monday at the Downtown Toledo Train Station. “It’s always Trump first, and everyone else last.”
Mrs. Clinton unleashed the attack during a previously planned economic speech in Ohio, where she has struggled to connect with white working-class voters, who have seen huge job losses amid the decades-long flow of manufacturing plants overseas.
But the revelation on Saturday night that Mr. Trump declared a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns and could have avoided paying federal taxes for years added a new impetus and an extra dose of fire and brimstone to Mrs. Clinton’s economic pitch.
She wasted little time in tying Mr. Trump’s tax practices to her broader economic message of reining in corporate excess and alleviating income inequality.
“Toledo is the kind of place where people work hard, look after one another and, yes, pay their taxes,” Mrs. Clinton said at the start of her remarks here.
And noting the defense Mr. Trump’s allies have put forth — that his handling of his taxes reflects his “genius” — Mrs. Clinton said, “What kind of a genius loses a billion dollars in a single year?”
So Assange makes people stay up until 2 am just so he could accuse people of saying he doesn't like Hillary Clinton, and promising he is going to release some information - sometime, but denying that it is directed at Clinton, even though it is billed as "Wikileaks Clinton October Surprise".
Infowars, the pro-Trump and virulently anti-Clinton media vehicle launched by Texas radio host Alex Jones, had touted the WikiLeaks news conference as “historic” and promised that “the Clintons will be devastated.”
Before Assange took the stage, Jones — who broadcast through the wee hours of the American morning — told viewers and listeners he was so excited he was worried his heart couldn't stand it.
But by the end, Jones realized he’d been played — or in his words, “#wikirolled.”
Whistle-blowing website promises to reveal more secret and "significant" documents before year's end.
It was once celebrated as a champion of transparency. But now 10-years old, WikiLeaks has lost a lot of friends.
The whistle-blowing website serves as the world's best-known source for leaked government and intelligence information.
It's exposed corruption and misuse of power in many countries, including the United States.
But WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has become increasingly controversial over the past decade.
Critics say his site is manipulated by politicians, and the way it releases classified documents is irresponsible.
Assange has been hiding in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London to avoid possible extradition to Sweden, where he faces questions over allegations of sexual assault.
"WikiLeaks will release documents on the US presidential election before Nov 8, the group's founder Julian Assange said in an eagerly anticipated address..."
Congressional leaders were quick to criticize Clinton for the slight. “The Secretary of State is our ambassador to the world”, said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, “Such disrespect for the leaders of other countries weakens our international alliances and strengthens our enemies’ resolve.”
Wayne MADSEN | 08.10.2016 | OPINION Hacked Files Substantiate the Clinton Foundation’s «Pay-to-Play» Extortion Racket
Recently-obtained documents emanating from a computer hack of the Clinton Foundation by the enigmatic cyber-sleuth known as «Guccifer 2.0» reinforce previous allegations that the tax-exempt foundation engaged in what amounted to a «pay-to-play» extortion racket. The most recent hacked files originated with the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and the Virginia Democratic Party and were hacked from the computer systems of the Clinton Foundation.
The recent hacked files describe a kickback scheme in which Democratic members of Congress received lucrative campaign donations from Wall Street in return for their support for the federal bailout of several financially-teetering banks, commonly known as TARP or «Troubled Asset Relief Program». One of the largest recipients of Wall Street campaign cash largesse was the House of Representative’s top Democrat, Nancy Pelosi.
Another architect of the TARP bailout who benefited from bank donations to his campaign was Massachusetts Democratic Representative Barney Frank, the chairman of the powerful House Financial Services Committee, the panel that oversees the federal government’s regulation of Wall Street. Donors to Fran’s political coffers included some of the very banks and other firms that were bailed out by TARP: Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Bank of New York Mellon, Citigroup, Capital One, Fifth Third, Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Merril Lynch, KeyCorp, and Huntington Banchares.
Who knew? Talk about pathological Russophobia. McCarthy was just an amateur compared to Hilary Clinton.
Hilary Clinton wrote:
“We were up against Russia pushing oligarchs and others to buy media. We were even up against phony environmental groups, and I’m a big environmentalist, but these were funded by the Russians to stand against any effort, oh that pipeline, that fracking, that whatever will be a problem for you, and a lot of the money supporting that message was coming from Russia.”
Of course, as the article points out, it's members and supporters of her own party that were concerned about fracking and such. You know. Those Sanders supporters that were cheated out of the nomination for their candidate.
What a farce. No wonder HRC and at least one of her DNC staffers mused about a drone strike against Julian Assange.
The Real Wikileaks Smoking Gun Points to Trump, not Clinton
An investigative report published in Newsweek reveals that hacker organization Wikileaks falsified information and leaking phony “Hillary Clinton emails” in an attempt to undermine her presidential campaign.
...
But while attempting to verify the email’s authenticity, Newsweek’s Kurt Eichenwald discovered that the email attributed to Blumenthal did not come from Blumenthal at all––because the email was something Eichenwald himself had written.
One of the wildcards in the 2016 presidential election is the possibility of an "October surprise": some damning revelation from the Democratic National Committee's hacked emails that could doom the candidacy of Hillary Clinton. So far nothing too unsavory has emerged. In fact, quite the opposite: we now have solid risotto tips from Clinton campaign chair John Podesta, which have been circulating on Twitter this afternoon.
The subtext of Fallon’s protest is that no matter what reporters dig out in the voluminous Podesta emails, their stories will be polluted by the motives and methods behind their acquisition.
That's pretty much the same reason that courts disregard evidence obtained without a warrant.
And this drives some people pretty much nuts. If the cops found a duffel bag of marijuana when they (illegally) searched the car, are we really all just supposed to try to forget that??!?! How do we pretend it didn't happen just because there wasn't some fancy "warrant" for the search, or some kind of namby-pamby "reasonable cause"?
Roger Stone, a longtime confidante of Donald Trump's, confirmed Wednesday night that he has had "back-channel communication" with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
"Clinton has long been the favorite of the corporate media and her best TV friends are at NBC. The network had known for months about the 11-year-old tape in which its current employee, Billy Bush, a cousin and nephew of two presidents, joined with Trump in piggish banter degrading women.
NBC chose to release the tape at precisely the right moment to suck the air out of a new batch of Wikileaks documents that could have been catastrophic to for the Clinton campaign.
As a result, everybody and their mother knows that Trump brags about grabbing women's private parts but far fewer folks learned what Clinton said to those bankers and other One Percenters that have paid her $26 millions for private speeches.
If the contents of her bankster speeches had been divulged at the height of her primary race against Bernie Sanders, Clinton would never have won the nomination, because they reveal her as a methodical, cynical liar...
Clinton told a bunch of real estate developers that rich folks like themselves shouldn't take her public speeches to the Democratic masses too literally. Her years in politics have taught her, she said, that 'You need both a public and private position.'
She is telling the rich and powerful not to worry, because she will protect their interests while lying to the people. Had NBC not pushed the Wikileaks story to the side with their soft-porn Trump tape, Clinton's campaign would have been gravely wounded..."

No, they did it because the Washington Post did it first.
